LA LA LAB - A melting pot of circus, percussion, & movement

Hosted By
Noreen Van Holstein
Founder Director • La La Land

What do you get when you put a dancer, a juggler and Chinese pole artists from Europe together with a Kalaripayattu master from Kerala. Add world rhythm with Turkish influences and the classical South Indian Kanjira hand drum and you get.......MAGIC.
The LaLaLab is a cross-cultural and multi-disciplinary collaborative production. Artists from the Netherlands and India each with a different background and discipline will create a new collaborative performance together. This improvisation piece will be using movement, strength, balance and rhythm.
The LaLaLab is an improvisation piece by Tea Time Company, contemporary circus artists from the Netherlands, Kishor CK a professional Kalaripayattu movement artist from Kerala, Dutch – Turkish percussionist Sjahin During and Sunaad Anoor on the Kanjira, the South Indian Hand drum.
