The India - UK Poetry Exchange

Are you a Queer poet based out of India or the UK? Here’s an exciting opportunity for you brought to you by _The Queer Muslim Project_ and _Verve Poetry Festival_ in association with _British Council_. This is an *open call* for our *India X UK Poetry Exchange* that feeds into BBC Contains Strong Language Festival in September 2022 in Birmingham.

As part of the exchange programme, LGBTQIA+ poetry professionals of varying experience from India and the UK will have the opportunity to travel and learn from experts in both countries, and produce new work to be published by Verve Poetry Press.

You must have the capacity to give the required time to the programme – one full week (Monday to Monday) in June 2022, four weeks of online engagement between July and August, and one full week in September.
